NAA summer classes: Plant the seeds for your creativity!

Camp Imagine brings kids and art together!

Camp Imagine is an artistic, affordable way to spark kids' creativity this summer. The fee is based on family income so that everyone can get involved.

Twenty-four young artists, ages 7-12, spend one or two weeks exploring painting, acting, sculpting, singing, drawing, and dancing. The dates are July 30-August 10.

Teachers Wanted!

Do you love to share the arts with kids and/or adults? The Newark Arts Alliance has plenty of opportunities for you to get creative and earn money. A degree and/or teaching experience are preferred.

Proposals are now being accepted for fall classes for ages 4 and up. Submissions received and approved by August 15 will be included in the class flier. For details and an application, click here.

 

 

Artful birthday parties
at the NAA

The first birthday party at the NAA was a “shoe-in”.  The youngsters painted old shoes and turned them into flower planters.

You can celebrate a youngster’s special day with an art-oriented party at the Newark Arts Alliance, too.  You get exclusive use of the classroom for 2.5 hours ($75), an art instructor for a one-hour project ($50), and art supplies ($3 per child).   Choose from a variety of projects.  A party attendant is also available for $25, but is not required if the parent assists.  To check the schedule and for details call the NAA at 302-266-7266.
